please be patient while we try to locate your WEB SITE!

sitewelder sent this email last nite about an emergency repair-

During a routine electrical Panel maintenance at the Equinix Data Center, an abnormal condition was found with a breaker that is feeding the panel.  This issue is affecting our cabinets .

A new feed will be completed today. We need to do an emergency change out of the PDU that’s feeding our cabinet.

This will take our services down for 10 to 30 minutes.

This change out needs to take place tomorrow at 12:00 Noon. We will have an electrical contractor’s on site to assist with a smooth change out.

If the work is not done, the breaker could trip at any time and the facility will not re-energize the breaker.

We apologize for any inconvenience. If there are any change to this timeline, you will be notified in advance of that change.

what confuses me  is why there isn't a back up system in place so my site doesn't go down while they need to unplug something?

if you are looking for images, please email me stephen@stephenmallon.com or call me 212 979 0561 or 917 554 3871 and i will get them to you via email or a messenger ( bike, me, or a pigeon)
